Park Place Dia De Los Muertos Celebration

November 8th, 2025
5870 E Broadway Blvd

The Park Place Día de los Muertos Celebration takes place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., transforming Park Place Mall into a colorful tribute to culture, memory, and community. Presented by Art State Arizona and Park Place, the free event will feature nonstop live music and dance performances in Center Court, including Mariachi Innovación and Ballet Folklórico Los Mextucaz performing throughout the day in front of the community ofrenda. Near the Kids Indoor Playground, guests can watch live painters Jesse Perry and Pen Macias create original Día de los Muertos-inspired works, enjoy custom coloring book activities, and visit one of three professional face painters—Sparkled Wings (Alheli), District97 Atelier (Tamiyah), and Ytzel Sanchez. The community ofrenda will remain on display through November 7, inviting visitors to contribute written tributes in honor of loved ones who have passed. An online tribute option will also be available, allowing people to share memories, photos, and stories that will be added to the public display. The celebration blends art, culture, and tradition into an uplifting experience that honors life and remembrance through creativity and connection.
